It finally feels like springtime in the Rockies; the air is fresh, the sun is shining, and our allergies are going nuts with all of the budding trees! Englewood Camera is pleased to announce our newest photography contest for our customers! The theme for our spring photography contest is night photography. Photographing in the dark opens your eyes up to new creative possibilities, offering new perspectives on subjects you may typically ignore.
Submit traditional landscape, cityscape, urban landscape, or lifestyle photos—they just have to be taken at night! Share your favorite moments of how you see the world at night with us and our customers by entering! Photographs can be taken in any location, so this contest is not limited to Colorado. We will be selecting 12 final images to hang in the store from late May until early August, 2015. You may submit portrait or landscape format images.
The new FUJINON XF16mmF1.4 R WR is a weather-resistant, fixed focal length lens (24mm in 35mm format equivalent) that delivers a dramatic wide field of view and stunning image performance. The F1.4 maximum aperture in the XF16mm gives users extraordinary image quality in low-light conditions, and pleasing bokeh-rich macro photography with a minimum working distance of less than 6” for numerous creative photographic possibilities. Englewood Camera anticipates having this lens in stock mid- to late-May 2015 for a retail price of $999.
Englewood Camera has a hot selection of pre-owned Nikon cameras and Nikon lenses in stock! Start prepping for your summer trips and save money by purchasing used gear–and buy with confidence knowing that we offer a 6-month warranty!
